All of our classes are designed to support you on your journey towards optimum health. Every individual has their own specific needs, therefore we offer a variety of classes so that you can find exactly what serves you. Chair Yoga: Chair Yoga is designed for anyone who is new to yoga or already practicing but seeking new ways to stretch, breathe and grow stronger in the body, mind and spirit. Joining a chair practice introduces a new community of people who come together to create health in the body, peace in the mind and an opening of the heart. This 50 minute class allows practitioners to explore how the chair helps inform posture, movement and breathing. Each class begins with meditation and breath techniques and explores flows (poses that are put together and work in harmony with the body) and strengthening of various muscle groups in a safe, nurturing environment.
Gentle Flow: This is a basic and more gentle class for all levels of yogis. With focus on breath, proper alignment, and postures that are held a bit longer, this class will surely be a soft landing from a long day.
Prana Fusion: This is a combination of Qi Gong, breathing techniques (Pranayama), Tai Chi and yoga poses. All are combined together to create a synergistic flow.
Radiate and Restore: In this class, be present as we work through a flow that will allow you to open up and radiate your inner light, ending with a slow flow/ restorative sequence to practice control of the mind when the body is still. Radiate and Restore is for the beginning or the advanced yoga practitioner, seeking acceptance of what is, revival of their true self, and restoration.
Tai Chi & Qi Gong: Learn the art of Tai Chi & Qi Gong with Dr. Kuan, who has been a practitioner for many years. This class will introduce you to these two forms of Chinese martial arts. Tai Chi & Qi Gong have many health benefits such as the reduction of stress, increased mobility, strength, stamina and much more.
Vinyasa Flow: This is a moderately paced Vinyasa flow class, meaning that we transition seamlessly from one pose to the next. You will be guided throughout each pose to make sure you receive the full benefit of the postures. Each class will start and end with a brief meditation. The class has a positive energetic feel and you will leave the class feeling empowered, strong and energized.
